The summit was further honoured by the presence of Mr. Sandeep Marwah, internationally acclaimed film and television personality, Founder and Chairman of AAFT, Noida, and Mr. Dilip Chenoy, Former CEO of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), as Guests of Honour. Their inspiring addresses highlighted the growing importance of industry-oriented education, skill development, innovation, entrepreneurship, and global academic partnerships in preparing future-ready professionals. They emphasized the need for educational institutions to align learning with evolving industry requirements, technological advancements, and international standards to build a highly skilled and globally competitive workforce.
The summit witnessed participation from leading schools, colleges, universities, professional institutions, training organizations, educational consultants, and academic leaders from across India. Delegates engaged in insightful discussions on quality education, institutional excellence, curriculum innovation, digital learning, skill development, research collaboration, international partnerships, and the future of higher education in a rapidly evolving global landscape.
One of the defining features of the summit was the extensive exchange of experiences and best practices among participating institutions. Educational leaders shared successful models of academic excellence, governance, technology integration, student engagement, faculty development, and international collaborations, creating valuable opportunities for mutual learning and long-term partnerships.
The event also served as a networking platform where educators, policymakers, institutional representatives, and industry leaders explored avenues for academic collaborations, student exchange programmes, faculty development initiatives, research partnerships, skill development programmes, and global outreach. These interactions reinforced the importance of stronger academia-industry linkages in enhancing employability and innovation.
A major highlight of the programme was the Indian Education & Leadership Awards, which recognized outstanding educational institutions, visionary leaders, and pioneering initiatives that had demonstrated excellence in teaching, leadership, innovation, research, skill development, and social impact. The awards celebrated achievements that inspire continuous improvement and set new benchmarks for educational excellence across the country.
Addressing the distinguished gathering, Mr. Puran Dawar, Chairman of the Corporate Council for Leadership and Awareness (CCLA) and Chairman of Dawar Footwear Industries, emphasized that education is the cornerstone of a nation’s progress and the foundation upon which future leaders are built. He remarked that in an increasingly interconnected world, academic excellence must be complemented by leadership, innovation, ethics, and a spirit of entrepreneurship.
Mr. Dawar highlighted the need for educational institutions to move beyond traditional learning models by fostering critical thinking, creativity, digital literacy, and industry-oriented skills. He stressed that empowering students with practical knowledge and leadership capabilities would enable them to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving global economy.
Speaking on the importance of collaboration between academia and industry, he noted that stronger partnerships would help bridge the gap between education and employment, promote research and innovation, and prepare young professionals to become job creators rather than job seekers. He also encouraged educational institutions to nurture socially responsible leaders who can contribute meaningfully to nation-building.
Congratulating the award recipients, Mr. Dawar acknowledged their outstanding contributions to education, leadership, innovation, and institutional excellence. He stated that recognizing achievers not only celebrates excellence but also inspires educators, students, and professionals across the country to pursue higher standards of performance and integrity.
Concluding his address, Mr. Dawar reaffirmed CCLA’s commitment to promoting excellence in education, leadership development, and knowledge-sharing through impactful national platforms. He expressed confidence that by investing in quality education and visionary leadership, India would strengthen its human capital and emerge as a global leader in innovation, enterprise, and sustainable development.
