Squadron Leader Atul Kumar Singh (Retd.) is a distinguished Indian Air Force veteran, visionary educationist, institution builder, motivational speaker, and internationally acclaimed social thinker. With over three decades of leadership spanning national defence, education, institution building, and social development, he has dedicated his life to nation-building through discipline, innovation, and transformative education. His remarkable journey reflects an unwavering commitment to excellence, leadership, and creating meaningful impact for society.
Commissioned into the Indian Air Force in 1992 by the then Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Arjan Singh, Sqn Ldr Singh served the nation with distinction for fifteen years. As a highly accomplished Air Force officer and skilled pilot, he undertook several strategic assignments across India and actively participated in the 1999 Kargil War, displaying exceptional courage, leadership, and professional excellence. His exemplary service earned him numerous commendations and recognitions from the Indian Air Force.
After completing his distinguished military career, he channelled his leadership into the field of education with the vision of nurturing future-ready generations. In 2005, he founded the Dr. MPS Group of Institutions, followed by the establishment of Dr. MPS World School in 2012, both of which have emerged as respected centres of academic excellence, innovation, and holistic learning. In 2025, he further expanded his educational mission by taking charge as Director of Akash Institute, New Delhi. Through these institutions, he continues to empower thousands of students by promoting academic excellence, leadership, character building, and innovation-driven learning.

A Gold Medalist in M.Sc. (Botany) and a postgraduate in the Russian language, Sqn Ldr Singh combines academic excellence with strategic leadership. He is widely recognised as a motivational speaker and mentor, inspiring students, educators, entrepreneurs, and young leaders through his powerful insights on leadership, national service, discipline, and personal excellence. As President of the National Security Awareness Forum (Agra Chapter), he actively promotes national security awareness, responsible citizenship, and youth empowerment.
His outstanding contributions to education, entrepreneurship, nation-building, and social service have been recognised by more than fifty prestigious organisations. He has been honoured with the Military Service Medal by the Hon’ble President of India on four occasions and has twice been felicitated by the Hon’ble Governor for his exceptional contributions to education, entrepreneurship, and social welfare. His achievements have also been recognised through prestigious honours, including the Amar Ujala Achievers Award (2022), Dainik Jagran iNext Impact Achievers Award (2023), and Hindustan Samachar Pride Award (2024).
Having travelled to more than twenty-five countries, including Russia, France, Germany, China, Japan, Switzerland, Taiwan, and the UAE, Sqn Ldr Singh brings a global outlook to education, leadership, institutional excellence, and innovation. His international exposure enables him to integrate global best practices with India’s developmental aspirations and prepare institutions and young professionals for the opportunities of the digital era.
As Chairman of the AI & Innovation Council (Special Cell), Corporate Council for Leadership & Awareness (CCLA), Sqn Ldr A K Singh (Retd.) will lead the Council’s strategic vision to accelerate AI adoption, innovation, and future-ready leadership across academia, industry, startups, and public institutions. Leveraging his distinguished military leadership, institution-building expertise, and deep understanding of education, he will champion AI-driven learning, innovation ecosystems, research collaborations, startup incubation, and industry-academia partnerships. His leadership will help develop a new generation of AI-enabled professionals, innovators, and entrepreneurs while promoting responsible and ethical use of Artificial Intelligence. Under his guidance, the AI & Innovation Council aims to become a catalyst for technological excellence, empowering institutions, nurturing breakthrough innovations, strengthening India’s AI ecosystem, and contributing significantly towards the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 and India’s emergence as a global leader in Artificial Intelligence and innovation.
