Media Conclave 2021, organized by the Corporate Council for Leadership and Awareness (CCLA), was successfully held on 28 February 2021 at Hotel Holiday Inn, Agra. The conclave marked a historic milestone as one of the first large-scale media forums in Agra dedicated exclusively to bringing together journalists, editors, television anchors, digital media professionals, academicians, litterateurs, policymakers, and public intellectuals on a common platform for meaningful dialogue on the future of journalism.

Organized during the challenging period of the COVID-19 pandemic, the conclave symbolized resilience, unity, and the unwavering commitment of the media fraternity towards safeguarding the values of democracy and responsible journalism. At a time when misinformation, digital disruption, and changing audience behaviour were reshaping the media landscape, the event provided an ideal forum to examine emerging opportunities and challenges while strengthening collaboration among media professionals.

The conclave was graced by Prof. S.P. Singh Baghel, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, as the Chief Guest, while Mr. Amitabh Agnihotri, Senior Journalist and National Television Anchor, attended as the Guest of Honour. Through their inspiring addresses, they highlighted the indispensable role of ethical journalism, independent media, and constructive public discourse in strengthening democratic institutions and promoting informed citizenship. They emphasized the need for journalists to uphold truth, credibility, impartiality, and public trust in an increasingly competitive and technology-driven media environment.

Addressing the conclave, Mr. Puran Dawar, Chairman of the Corporate Council for Leadership and Awareness (CCLA) and Chairman of Dawar Footwear Industries, emphasized that a strong democracy is built on the pillars of responsible journalism, transparency, and informed public dialogue.
